How To Set Up Apple CarPlay® in My Ford?

In order to connect to Apple CarPlay® in your Ford, you need to pair your smartphone with Ford's SYNC® feature on your infotainment center. 

1. Turn on Vehicle, mobile phone, and Radio/SYNC®
2. Enable your smartphone Bluetooth and ensure the phone is discoverable 
3. Access the Phone menu and press add. If there no phone has been paired, add a phone display
4. From your phone's Bluetooth menu, search for SYNC®, and select. 
5. A six-digit PIN number will display and you will have three minutes to confirm the PIN displayed on both SYNC and your device.Type the six-digit number displayed by SYNC® if no pin appears on the device 
6. A message will display confirming connection and SYNC® may prompt with various phone options. At this point, your phone will be connected and you have access to phone options such as dial a number, phonebook, text Messages, Apple CarPlay®, and more.
